Food

Preparing, presenting, and consuming of food is universal.  We all need to eat.  Where it gets interesting is in the subtle and not so subtle differences that come from our local ingredients, cultures, and heritages.  I find this wide variety both beautiful and fascinating.  Your taste buds come alive when trying something for the first time.  Later, when you try to make the same dish yourself, you - if you are like me - learn quickly that there is also an art to making a truly great meal.  I am humbled by those artisans and eager to learn more.
